Compact Commissions
The state of Nebraska belongs to various interstate compacts designed to achieve mutual public policy objectives.
Some of the compacts to which Nebraska belongs require the appointment of members of the Nebraska Legislature to serve as members of a compact commission. A compact commission serves to govern the activities relating to the administration of its specific compact.
